The Role: The Legal Assistant to the civil claims division provides hands-on legal support and works closely with a specialist Partner and their close-knit team of Lawyers. Essential to the smooth day-to-day operation of matters in public and product liability, workers compensation, and motor vehicle accidents. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate case files, including insurance details, witness reports, and medical records Preparing legal documentation for courts and government organisations Liaising professionally with clients, counsel, and third parties Organising lawyers' calendars, appointments and court dates Conducting legal research tasks About you: At least 12 months up-to-date experience as a Legal Assistant in a litigation or personal injury team in a law firm Collaborative problem solving skills Strong ability to initiate and finalise tasks autonomously Superior organisational and prioritisation abilities Why join?
